Stranger things (or when we decided to be brave)

Last night we decided to explore the night and try to see the Perseids rain. This year it was supposed be more intense than usual. You know I'm pretty marmot and that I try really hard not to leave home, especially on Fridays. But yesterday was a special night and a very Ideotta style plan, so we decided to make a night excursion in the mood of Stranger Things.

Laura Jackson, the new Alexa Chung?

I recently discover Laura Jackson, presenter, fashion aficionado and working cook. She was described in Vogue as the next Alexa Chung. Even if it's difficult to emulate Alexa, It's true thats she has a certain resemblance. My new obsession lives in East London with her boyfriend and fashion photographer Jon Gorrigan, and her dog Barry.

Norway on the horizon

Next week, Ideotta and I, we go to Norway and Sweden. We have been talking about going to the Nordic Countries for ages. Each of us has a favorite one in its mind. For no reason, and for a thousand reasons simultaneously. Because of small remains that we accumulate in our mind that, without knowing it, make us imagine certain destinations as unique.

My favorite Travel Blogs

After almost two years publishing my obsessions, I think it's more than evident that traveling is one of my biggest obsessions! The truth is that I try to squeeze every day off I have to visit new sites or repeat those that have specially marked me (such as Berlin). Therefore, I have decided to show every month all these travel blogs that I discover and inspire me. Blogs with a stunning photography, escaping from the obvious to show the world from another angle.

The beauty of Chanel

Marion, je t'aime

You know my weakness for France and its artistic production. I always thought I was French in another life ... But, aside of having the head in the clouds, Marion Cotillard is one of those women who embodies perfection and fascinates me. One of my obsessions. The first time I noticed its captivating beauty was in A Good Year, with Russell Crowe, another of my, inexplicably, favorite actors (I guess Gladiator leaved a mark on me). And this exquisite collaboration between music (metronomy), fashion (Dior) and interpretation (Marion) ... has left me speechless! Marion sings...

Marion canta...

Chelsea Girl

Last Sunday, in Barcelona we had the visit of the summer! I woke up with the most bright sunshine and a compelling urge to go outside (like a brown bear after a long period of hibernation). The truth is that the need of going outside doesn't last long on me (I'm like a marmot and the sofa has an amazing power over me). So I walked by the couch with covered eyes and went outside!

Floral explosion

I've been postponing for days a post I had started days ago, but I keep finding new obsessions I need to share immediately with you. Aaaaaaaah! Yesterday, for example, I found out about one of the most beautiful campaigns I have seen in a long time, Sony’s advertisement campaign for their 4K Ultra HD line of television sets.

Easy like Sunday morning... by the Dreslyn

Today I bring you a new obsession, a real one, one of those that got you from the second you see it and don't let you until you share it immediately with your friends. In fact, I had a new post almost ready but I couldn't wait to share this new obsessions with you.  Well,  with such an introduction you may thing I'm telling you something  apocalyptic but, not at all, it's just an editorial that I loved and that made me discover a wonderful shopping web: The Dreslyn. (Worth checking its pinterest account!)

Obsessed with... Eliot Lee Hazel

__I was randomly watching pictures on Pinterest. Just looking for images with pink details (lately I’m a little bit obsessed with this bubble-gum pink and I want to do some research for a new post and new looks). And then, suddenly, I came across an amazingly beautiful picture. Clicked on it, and discovered many other magical pictures. All of them for the same photographer, Eliot Lee Hazel born in britain but living in the USA and my new obsession!

Blue lovers

Totally obsessed with Chagall's blue...

New Victorian style

By now you probably now my feebleness for Dracula and his legend. So, you won't be surprise by my new Obsessions; the new NBC series Dracula. I just started watching it recently and immediately become addicted. Jonathan Rhys Meyers really makes you believe that you are in front of the most alluring Dracula.

Halloween inspiration

We can feel it everywhere... Halloween is coming. I know that many of you, my dear Obsessed readers, don't like this celebration because you feel this is an american creation with hidden commercial purposes... but I love Halloween. Is the day when you really feel winter is coming: the colors, the food, the darkness, the mystery, the legends... The atmosphere is magical. I love dressing up gloomy and organizing thematic dinners with my friends (even if the often show up undressed!)

Inspiration for Transylvania

Today I'm starting my holidays in Transylvania. Finally. A destination in my heart since I can remember. Here some inspiration I've collected for my trip. Hope to bring you soon more pictures and souvenirs from Romania! La revedere!

Alma Jodorowsky

I always say a have a french soul and even if it sound cliché, I really feel myself deeply connected with the french culture. My mother always tells me that when I was little and she told me that I was going to a german school I scream I wanted to go to a french one! If you knew my mother you would have already guessed that I went to a german school... But from that moment on I just saw french movies and french TV, I fall in love with Baudelaire, Monet, Balzac, la Nouvelle Vague and Elodie Bouchez and as soon as I could I start french lessons and, later on, moved to Paris.

Love of beauty..
