A few days ago Pavement came forward and unveiled the poster of Primavera Sound this year before the organization itself ... The truth is that when a festival reveals all its line-up suddenly you go crazy and get tachycardias by reading the whole list at once. This year, without a doubt, has been that way. A line-up with big names and, in my case, with a day where most of my favorites condense: Thursday! Apart from that, here the 20 artists that you can't miss this festival, young talents with great projection for this 2020.
Hace unos días Pavement se adelantaba y desvelaba el cartel del Primavera Sound de este año antes que la propia organización... La verdad es que cuando un festival desvela todo su line-up de golpe te vuelves loco y leer el listado del tirón te puede provocar taquicardias. Este año, sin duda, así ha sido. Un cartel con grandes nombres y, en mi caso, con un día donde se condensan la mayoría de mis favoritos: el jueves! A parte de eso, os dejo aquí los 20 artistas que no te puedes perder este festival, jóvenes talentos con gran proyección para este 2020.

Luckily for the most impatient ones, we'll be able to buy the new album this Friday in its presentation concert at BeCool in Barcelona. Hola chicos! Seguimos con noticias musicales. Ayer mismo The Last 3 Lines estrenaba su nuevo video “screaming eyes”, primer single del nuevo álbum “Portals” que lanzan a principios del 2017. Por suerte para los más impacientes, podremos comprar el nuevo disco en primicia este viernes en su concierto presentación en la sala BeCool en Barcelona. Finally we managed to find time for a concert night together! This time Vicky (#ParanoiaGirls) couldn't come :( but Natalia (#PanavisionPets) came instead. Alex, Natalia and I went to Apolo's [sala 2] to see La Luz live who played alongside Zephyr Bones and Boogarins .
Por fin volvimos a encontrar un hueco para salir de concierto! Esta vez Vicky (#ParanoiaGirls) no pudo venir :( pero en su lugar vino Natalia (#PanavisionPets). Alex, Natalia y yo fuimos a la sala 2 del Apolo a ver en directo a La Luz que tocaban junto a Zephyr Bones y Boogarins.
Tourists associate Barcelona to Gaudi, pa amb tomàquet and beach, but the truth is that the beaches of Barcelona are not a referent. They are very crowded and full of street vendors who will not let you off. And, I'm really not complaining. Living by the sea is a must for me, and Barcelona has coast to get bored of! But I would like to show you alternative to the beaches of the Catalan capital. In previous posts I spoke you about Les Filipines and the beach of El Prat. Today we bathe in Montgat, El Maresme.

Están muy masificadas y llenas de vendedores ambulantes que no te dejan desconectar. Y, de verdad que no me quejo. Vivir junto al mar es una necesidad para mí, y Barcelona tiene costa para aburrirse! Last night we decided to explore the night and try to see the Perseids rain. This year it was supposed be more intense than usual. You know I'm pretty marmot and that I try really hard not to leave home, especially on Fridays. But yesterday was a special night and a very Ideotta style plan, so we decided to make a night excursion in the mood of Stranger Things.
Ayer decidimos explorar la noche e intentar ver la lluvia de Perseidas de este año, que anunciaban sería más intensa de lo normal. Ya sabéis que soy bastante marmota, especialmente los viernes, y evito al máximo salir de casa. Pero ayer era una noche especial y un plan muy estilo Ideotta, así que decidimos hacer una excursión nocturna al más puro estilo Stranger Things.

One day I saw on my Facebook feed that Damien Rice was playing in Barcelona. Quickly jabbed the link. Cruïlla Festival. The truth is that this festival seemed to me an unattractive, second class festival... too local for my taste. However, being able to see Damien Rice live was well worth it and the dates were perfect.
En mi feed de Facebook me apareció la noticia de que Damien Rice tocaba en Barcelona. Rápidamente pinché el enlace. Cruïlla Festival. La verdad es que siempre me había parecido un festival de segunda poco atractivo... demasiado local. Sin embargo, poder volver a ver a Damien Rice en directo bien lo valía. Las fechas eran perfectas. No me coincidía con nada.

Friday was ladies night with Vicky, Alex and Hinds! It was one of those nights that started with many yawns but ended up bouncing each chord of the bands and wanting more. Those nights when time flies and, suddenly, there is only you and Hinds in the bar!
El viernes tocaba noche de chicas, Vicky, Alex y las Hinds! Fue una de esas noches que empezaron con muchísimos bostezos pero que acabaron brincando cada acorde de la sala y con ganas de más. Esas noches en las que el tiempo vuela y, cuando te das cuenta, no hay nadie más en el bar que las propias Hinds!
Hello, hello, hello! I know... I haven't write a post since last year... The truth is that Ideotta and I just moved and last weeks have been quite chaotic. At first, I couldn't (literally) find any place to write and then the flat absorbed all my free time. In fact, the flat is still rather chaotic, but not enough to have an excuse not to write!

Al principio no encontraba sitio (literalmente hablando) donde escribir y, luego, el piso absorbía todo mi tiempo libre. A few years ago, when Obsessions wasn't even born, Ideotta and I went to New York to visit our friend Dave. For several days, Dave made us the biggest gastronomic tour of American food: hot dogs, hamburgers, cheesecake, bbq ribs, etc. Yesterday I had a déjà vu at Bernie's Diner American restaurant.
Hace unos años, cuando Obsessions aun no había nacido, Ideotta y yo estuvimos en Nueva York visitando a nuestro amigo Dave que es de allí. Durante varios días, Dave nos hizo la mayor ruta gastronómica de comida americana que os podáis imaginar: hot dogs, hamburguesas, tarta de queso, bbq ribs, etc. Ayer tuve un déjà vu en el restaurante americano Bernie's Diner.
Last Thursday I could see live again one of my favorite bands: Balthazar. The first time I saw them live was in my beloved Appletree Garden Festival. This concert couldn't compite with that unique setting, but I also enjoyed to the fullest.
El jueves pasado pude volver a ver en directo a una de mis bandas preferidas: Balthazar. La primera vez que los vi en directo fue en mi festival favorito, Appletree Garden Festival. Este concierto no superó ese marco incomparable, pero lo disfruté igualmente al 100%.

A few days ago we went for a walk to Horta neighborhood. I think it was my third time there... I remember perfectly the first time. I wasn't still living in Barcelona and I was sleeping at my friend's Natalie. I came for a Bon Jovi concert (my biggest obsession). It was begining of 2000. I hallucinated when I saw that Horta was the last stop of the subway line.
Hace unos días fuimos a pasear al barrio de Horta. Creo que era la tercera vez que iba... Me acuerdo perfectamente de la primera vez que fui. Aun no vivía en Barcelona y me quedé en casa de mi amiga Natalie a dormir. Había venido al concierto de Bon Jovi (mi gran obsesión). Debía ser principios del 2000. Recuerdo alucinar al ver que era la última parada de la línea de metro que tuve que coger.
One of those sunny days that I manage to get out of the house early enough, I went with ideotta, Moriarty and m to Mercantic in Sant Cugat. The Mercantic is a market for antique furniture where you can find many things, at least, curious. The truth is that it was a wonderful day with my friends where we enjoyed a spectacular day and some amazing patatas bravas (quarter cut French fries with a spicy sauce) that produced us all cramps but that we would repeat without any hesitation!
Uno de esos días de sol en los que conseguí salir de casa prontito fui con ideotta, Moriarty y m al Mercantic en Sant Cugat. El Mercantic es un mercado de muebles antiguos donde puedes encontrar infinidad de cosas, como poco, curiosas. La verdad es que fue un día maravilloso con mis amigos donde disfrutamos de un día espectacular y de unas patatas bravas alucinantes que nos produjeron retortijones a todos, pero que repetiríamos sin lugar a dudas!

Yesterday I went to the CaraB Festival. It was supposed to be a #BFF plan with Moriarty and Gilberta bu, at the last moment, things went wrong and I went alone. I hesitated a little bit. The club was quite far and I doidn't feel like going alone up there ... But, once I listened a couple of tracks of the Hinds, I cheered and went! Ciao sofa, another battle you lost ;)
Ayer fui al Festival CaraB. En un principio iba a ser un plan #BFF con Moriarty y Gilberta pero, en el último momento, las cosas se torcieron y fui sola. Al principio dudé un poco. La sala estaba bastante lejos y no me apetecía mucho ir sola hasta allí... Sin embargo, en cuanto me puse un par de temas de las ciervas, me animé y fui! Ciao sofá, una batalla más que has perdido ;)
