I came across this talented artist a couple of days ago, and I couldn't wait to let you know about her in Obsessions. The first thing that caught my attention was the agony and desperation of her video: "Destruction of the disgusting ugly hate" and the fact that I can't stop singing this song.
Of course her unique image conquered my own sense of beauty and made me want to know more about her.
Sokolinski was born in Bordeaux, (France) in a Jewish family with Polish origins. She has used the nickname Soko as long as she can remember. Sokolinski left home at 16, quit school and moved to Paris to start acting classes. She has appeared in several French films and was nominated for a César Award for Most Promising Actress for her role in À l'origine, directed by Xavier Giannoli.
She became very famous in Denmark, Australia, The Netherlands, Belgium and Germany with her song I Kill Her
