After our journey through the Deep South of the United States, we decided to spend a few days in New York, as shock therapy before returning to Barcelona. An overdose of consumerism and cement after the simplicity (in the most positive sense of the word) and rudeness of the south.
Tras nuestra ruta por el profundo sur de Estados Unidos, decidimos pasar unos días en Nueva York, como terapia de choque antes de volver a Barcelona. Una sobredosis de consumismo y cemento tras la simpleza (en el sentido más positivo de la palabra) y rudeza del sur.
These were two days of mental disconnection in the sense that we didn't planed anything or tried any sightseeing marathon. We just walked the city, enjoying a city we already knew. We just planed two things: the High Line and Bushwick, apparently the new hip neighborhood (we still like much more Williamsburg).
Fueron dos días de relax mental en el sentido que no planificamos nada, ni intentamos ninguna maratón de monumentos. Simplemente paseamos por Nueva York, disfrutando de una ciudad que ya conocíamos. Solo dedicamos tiempo a dos cosas que no habíamos visto: the High Line and Bushwick, aparentemente el nuevo barrio de moda (a nosotros nos sigue gustando más Williamsburg).
