1, 2, 3... splash into summer

There is nothing that makes me happier than summers around a pool lost in the bush, with friends and cool beers! It is in those moments when I realice how much I love Barcelona and all the people I have met here.

Creo que no hay nada que me haga más feliz que los veranos al rededor de una piscina perdida en el monte, con amigos y unas cervezas bien fresquitas! Es en esos momentos cuanto pienso en lo que me gusta Barcelona y toda la gente que he conocido aquí. 

Friends + Pool + BBQ = :)

This was the first pool of the summer ... and I showing you a few weeks before the start of the fall ... Was one of those posts that I have been postponing for less timeless stories. However, this was one of the highlights of this summer and I really wanted to show you these pictures (though Moriarty might not believe this...)

Esta fue la primera piscina del verano... y os lo muestro a escasas semanas de que empiece el otoño... Ha sido uno de esos posts que he ido posponiendo por historias menos atemporales. Sin embargo, este fue uno de los mejores momentos de este verano y tenía muchas ganas de mostraros estas fotos (aunque Moriarty pueda pensar lo contrario...)

Calafell: holiday in "the village"

__I remember how all my friends went to "the village" when summer came. I think it's very characteristic of the Spain of the 80s and 90s. Many families vacationed in the village of their childhood and where older relatives still lived in. By that time, I didn't envy them. Summer in "the village" did not represent a great incentive for me (even if I loved to spend as much time as possible at my grandparents, who also lived in a town, but I never considered it "the village"). However, these coastal towns, that were so tourist back in those days, have now that charm that only nostalgia and resistance to the passage of time can give.

Recuerdo como todos mis amigos iban "al pueblo" cuando llegaba el verano. Creo que es algo muy característico de la España de los 80 y 90. Muchas familias veraneaban en el pueblo de su infancia y donde aún vivían los familiares más mayores. Por aquella época no los envidiaba. Veranear en "el pueblo" no representaba un gran aliciente para mí (si bien es verdad, que me encantaba pasar el máximo tiempo posible en casa de mis abuelos, que también vivían en un pueblo, pero que nunca consideré "el pueblo"). Sin embargo, estos pueblos costeros, que en su día fueron tan turísticos, tienen ahora ese encanto que otorga la nostalgia y la resistencia al paso del tiempo.

Pull and Bear POOL Party!!!

The essential ingredients for a perfect summer are: barbecue, festival, pool and beach. The more amount of these ingredients you mix up with the good weather, the most delicious and memorable will be your summer! Based on this theory, my summer has started doing really well! From pool to beach and I move as I choose. The last big pool was last week: The Pool Party from Pull & Bear.

Los ingredientes indispensables para un verano perfecto son: barbacoa, festival, piscina y playa. Cuanta más cantidad de estos ingredientes mezclemos con el buen tiempo, más delicioso y memorable será nuestro verano! Basándonos en esta teoría, este verano apunta maneras! De piscina a playa y tiro porque me toca! La última gran piscina fue la semana pasada: la Pool Party de Pull & Bear.

Sónar 2014

2014 is turning into a very musical summer (and hopefully stays like that!). Sónar is definitely one of my favorite music festivals. You may like or not their music, but the festival has a unique, innovative and round concept. 2014 se está convirtiendo en un verano muy musical (y que siga así!). Sónar es sin duda, uno de mis festivales de música favoritos. Te puede gustar más o menos su propuesta musical, pero el festival posee un concepto único, innovador y redondo. Creado en 1994, Sónar es un referente internacional gracias a su cuidada oferta que combina música electrónica con la creación digital y new media, reuniendo a los artistas más consolidados y al talento emergente en todos los terrenos de la producción musical y audiovisual.

The Great Scape... to Summer!

Last weekend summer stood with their suitcases in Barcelona and we all went crazy! This year his flight was delayed and although we were all already organizing his welcome party, he cached us still wearing socks!

El pasado fin de semana el verano se plantó con sus maletas en Barcelona y nos volvió a todos locos! Este año su vuelo tuvo retraso y, aunque ya estábamos todos con el cortejo de bienvenida en marcha, nos llegó igualmente de sopetón y con los calcetines puestos!

Hoy os traigo una nueva obsesión, de las de verdad, de esas que te entran por el ojo, te atrapan y solo quieres acabar el post para compartirla. De hecho tenía una entrada medio acabada, pero no he podido esperar a compartir esta con vosotros! Con semejante introducción pensareis que es algo apocalíptico, pero ni mucho menos, simplemente es una editorial que me ha encantado que, a su vez, me ha hecho descubrir una web de compra maravillosa: The Dreslyn. Con una cuenta de pinterest muy inspiradora!
