A week surrounded by music

Hello! There has been several days since my last post. So, I decided to bring you today an update on my past and up-coming music events. New discoveries, new acquisitions, upcoming concerts and more. I hope you enjoy it!

Ladies Night with Hinds at Sidecar

Friday was ladies night with Vicky, Alex and Hinds! It was one of those nights that started with many yawns but ended up bouncing each chord of the bands and wanting more. Those nights when time flies and, suddenly, there is only you and Hinds in the bar!

El viernes tocaba noche de chicas, Vicky, Alex y las Hinds! Fue una de esas noches que empezaron con muchísimos bostezos pero que acabaron brincando cada acorde de la sala y con ganas de más. Esas noches en las que el tiempo vuela y, cuando te das cuenta, no hay nadie más en el bar que las propias Hinds!

CaraB Festival

Yesterday I went to the CaraB Festival. It was supposed to be a #BFF plan with Moriarty and Gilberta bu, at the last moment, things went wrong and I went alone. I hesitated a little bit. The club was quite far and I doidn't feel like going alone up there ... But, once I listened a couple of tracks of the Hinds, I cheered and went! Ciao sofa, another battle you lost ;)

Ayer fui al Festival CaraB. En un principio iba a ser un plan #BFF con Moriarty y Gilberta pero, en el último momento, las cosas se torcieron  y fui sola. Al principio dudé un poco. La sala estaba bastante lejos y no me apetecía mucho ir sola hasta allí... Sin embargo, en cuanto me puse un par de temas de las ciervas, me animé y fui! Ciao sofá, una batalla más que has perdido ;)

HINDS (fka Deers) live!

Those who follow me, you already know Deers Hinds from previous posts. But, what you might not know, is why they are called now Hinds. Well, looks like a Canadian band has sued them and forced them to change their name because both sound similar O_O ( it was not even the same name, nor had the same spelling! It just sounded alike). But Hinds have taken easy and have begun their tour 2015 with even more energy! Here you can find the explanation the band has shared with their fans.

Los que me seguis, ya sabréis quienes son Deers Hinds de anteriores posts. Lo que tal vez no sepáis, es por qué ahora se llaman Hinds (ciervas). Pues bien, se ve que un grupo canadiense les ha demandado y obligado a cambiarse el nombre por tener una sonoridad similar O_O (correcto, ni siquiera era el mismo nombre, ni tenía la misma ortografía! Simplemente sonaba igual). Pero ellas se lo han tomado con buena cara y han empezado su gira 2015 con más energía si cabe! Aquí tenéis la explicación que ellas mismas han compartido con todos sus fans.

Deers Hinds: teen, crazy, fast & furious

__I cant remember exactly how Deers Hinds appeared on my computer. From a web to a blog, and from a blog to a tumblr, suddenly, I was following them on various platforms. The first thing that struck me was his carefree, fun and crazy image, that of two best friends on a Friday night, that of a sleepover with Prom's red punch, that of a night of fugue on an American bus. Deers Hinds captivated me for his boundless energy, his madness and desire of conquering the world. Very teen.

Deers Hinds apareció en mi ordenador no se muy bien como. De una web a un blog y de un blog a tumblr y así, sin darme cuenta, las seguía por varias plataformas. Lo primero que me llamó la atención fue su imagen despreocupada, divertida y loca, la de dos mejores amigas un viernes por la noche, la de una fiesta de pijamas con ponche rojo de fin de curso, la de una fuga nocturna en un bus americano. Deers Hinds me cautivaron por su energía desbordante, su locura y sus ganas de comerse el mundo. Muy teen.
