In October I was invited to the annual charity concert organized by TIDAL, TIDAL X Rock The Vote. Since its creation in 2015, these charity concerts have raised millions of dollars for different social causes such as the reform of criminal justice or humanitarian aid in natural disasters. This year's revenue from this concert has been entirely allocated to Rock The Vote to prepare new voters for elections as decisive as those of 2020 in the United States.
En octubre me invitaron al concierto benéfico anual organizado por TIDAL, TIDAL X Rock The Vote. Desde su creación en 2015, estos conciertos benéficos han recaudado millones de dólares para distintas causas sociales como la reforma de la justicia penal o ayuda humanitaria en desastres naturales. Este año los ingresos de este concierto han sido íntegramente destinados a Rock The Vote para preparar a los nuevos votantes para unas elecciones tan decisivas como serán las de 2020 en Estados Unidos.

Os había prometido que lo haría el fin de semana pasado pero entre una cosa y otra, ¡las publico éste! jajajajaja El finde pasado fue movidito (algo bastante poco habitual, la verdad, que ya sabéis que yo soy bastante parásito). Finally we managed to find time for a concert night together! This time Vicky (#ParanoiaGirls) couldn't come :( but Natalia (#PanavisionPets) came instead. Alex, Natalia and I went to Apolo's [sala 2] to see La Luz live who played alongside Zephyr Bones and Boogarins .
Por fin volvimos a encontrar un hueco para salir de concierto! Esta vez Vicky (#ParanoiaGirls) no pudo venir :( pero en su lugar vino Natalia (#PanavisionPets). Alex, Natalia y yo fuimos a la sala 2 del Apolo a ver en directo a La Luz que tocaban junto a Zephyr Bones y Boogarins.
Friday was ladies night with Vicky, Alex and Hinds! It was one of those nights that started with many yawns but ended up bouncing each chord of the bands and wanting more. Those nights when time flies and, suddenly, there is only you and Hinds in the bar!
El viernes tocaba noche de chicas, Vicky, Alex y las Hinds! Fue una de esas noches que empezaron con muchísimos bostezos pero que acabaron brincando cada acorde de la sala y con ganas de más. Esas noches en las que el tiempo vuela y, cuando te das cuenta, no hay nadie más en el bar que las propias Hinds!
Last Thursday I could see live again one of my favorite bands: Balthazar. The first time I saw them live was in my beloved Appletree Garden Festival. This concert couldn't compite with that unique setting, but I also enjoyed to the fullest.
El jueves pasado pude volver a ver en directo a una de mis bandas preferidas: Balthazar. La primera vez que los vi en directo fue en mi festival favorito, Appletree Garden Festival. Este concierto no superó ese marco incomparable, pero lo disfruté igualmente al 100%.

Yesterday I went to the CaraB Festival. It was supposed to be a #BFF plan with Moriarty and Gilberta bu, at the last moment, things went wrong and I went alone. I hesitated a little bit. The club was quite far and I doidn't feel like going alone up there ... But, once I listened a couple of tracks of the Hinds, I cheered and went! Ciao sofa, another battle you lost ;)
Ayer fui al Festival CaraB. En un principio iba a ser un plan #BFF con Moriarty y Gilberta pero, en el último momento, las cosas se torcieron y fui sola. Al principio dudé un poco. La sala estaba bastante lejos y no me apetecía mucho ir sola hasta allí... Sin embargo, en cuanto me puse un par de temas de las ciervas, me animé y fui! Ciao sofá, una batalla más que has perdido ;)
Those who follow me, you already know Deers Hinds from previous posts. But, what you might not know, is why they are called now Hinds. Well, looks like a Canadian band has sued them and forced them to change their name because both sound similar O_O ( it was not even the same name, nor had the same spelling! It just sounded alike). But Hinds have taken easy and have begun their tour 2015 with even more energy! Here you can find the explanation the band has shared with their fans.
Los que me seguis, ya sabréis quienes son Deers Hinds de anteriores posts. Lo que tal vez no sepáis, es por qué ahora se llaman Hinds (ciervas). Pues bien, se ve que un grupo canadiense les ha demandado y obligado a cambiarse el nombre por tener una sonoridad similar O_O (correcto, ni siquiera era el mismo nombre, ni tenía la misma ortografía! Simplemente sonaba igual). Pero ellas se lo han tomado con buena cara y han empezado su gira 2015 con más energía si cabe! Aquí tenéis la explicación que ellas mismas han compartido con todos sus fans.
__I had completely forgotten to show you the pictures of this acoustic concert given by The Last 3 Lines in a wonderful setting: the gardens of the University of Barcelona. The concert took place in the event organized by Demanoenmano that included workshops, live painting, exhibitions and a flea market. Demanoenmano is an association that organizes a traveling flea market, held monthly at different locations of the city of Barcelona.
Se me había olvidado completamente mostraros estas fotos de un concierto acústico que ofrecieron The Last 3 Lines en un entorno maravilloso: los jardines de la Universidad de Barcelona. El concierto tuvo lugar dentro de las jornadas organizadas por Demanoenmano, que incluían conciertos, talleres, pintura en vivo, exhibiciones y mercadillo. Demanoenmano es una asociación que organiza un mercado itinerante, que se celebra de forma mensual en distintas localizaciones de la ciudad de Barcelona.
Some days ago, The Last 3 Lines shared their italian tour dates on facebook. My friend Gilberta forwarded this event to me, adding a simple: Let's go? I've already had plans for that weekend. I was going to Vienna for work and had already planned to extend my stay there for the weekend. I thought of rejecting my friend's offer when my other friend, Moriarty, just brought us attention to her disappointment for not including her in our plans. "You are never able to come with us!" was our excuse. Moriarty said that this time she WAS ABLE to come with us. We decided to put her to the test. Next day she had time, prices and destination in her email. She confirmed: OK, I'm in! Well, I think this was Moriarty's biggest and fastest YES so, we couldn't go back now. Vienna's long weekend would have to wait and Rome became our destination and first travel all three together! (and Moriarty's first travel alone with friends)
The Last 3 Lines publicó hace un tiempo las fechas de su gira en Italia. Mi amiga Gilberta compartió el evento conmigo y añadió un simple: vamos? Tenía planificado quedarme en Viena ese fin de semana porque esa semana tenía que ir a la capital austríaca por trabajo y pensaba prolongar mi estancia hasta el domingo. Pensé en rechazar la propuesta de mi amiga. Entonces, mi otra amiga Moriarty se enfadó porque no le habíamos incluido en el plan. "Nunca puedes venir" fue nuestra excusa. Moriarty dijo que esta vez SÍ podía venir. Decidimos ponerla a prueba. Al día siguiente, tenía la propuesta completa en su mail: horarios, precios, destino. OK, respondió ella, me apunto! Este SÍ tan rotundo significaba que Moriarty viajaría por primera vez con amigas, que viajaríamos juntas por primera vez y que ya nadie podía echarse atrás. La visita a Viena sería breve. El fin de semana lo pasaría en Roma con mis amigas.

The Last 3 Lines is one of my biggest Obsessions. If you know me, yo know The Last 3 Lines. It is a fact :) TL3L is an indie rock band based in Barcelona or, as they describe themselves, humans from Barcelona performing bearded psychedelic rock since 2007.
