French Riviera

On our last day in the south of France we visited Grasse, Cannes and, on our way back to our apartment, Fréjus. We planned also to pass by St. Tropez, but we were too optimistic and we finally visited only  the first two and Fréjus, as a turning point to go back home (and dinner)!

Today's post is one of my favorites part of the trip. I really wanted to visit this area and also show you the pictures. The third phase of our trip was carried out by the Verdon Gorge, one of the parts of the journey we were more looking forward to visit!

Heart of Lavender: Gordes, Sénanque Abbey & Roussillon

On our second day in Cheval-Blanc, we visited Gordes, the abbey of Sénanque and Roussillon, the heart of lavender. In this area, we began to see plenty of lavender fields. It was lovely to drive thourgh this area, with the windows down, and being able to smell the proximity of lavender!

I haven't posted anything on the blog for days... but I've been really busy! Well, less complaining and more writing, the absence has been for the best reason: HOLIDAYS. We have spent 10 wonderful days in Provence, France, during the Lavender flowering period, and have thousand things to tell you about!
