Copenhagen in 3 days: Day 3, Hipster Copenhagen

Today I bring you our last route through Copenhagen, the hipster route to discover the trendiest neighborhoods. After visiting classic Copenhagen on our first day and Copenhagen between channels on our second day , today it is time to discover the most authentic and modern Copenhagen. We will visit the neighborhoods where young people live and where you will find a more local commerce. Let's visit Nørrebro, Vesterbro and Meatpacking district.

Hoy os traigo nuestra última ruta por Copenhague, la ruta hipster para descubrir los barrios de moda. Tras visitar en nuestro primer día Copenhague clásica y el segundo día Copenhague entre canales, hoy toca descubrir el Copenhague más local y actual. Recorreremos los barrios donde vive la gente joven y donde encontraréis un comercio más local. Os mostraré Nørrebro, Vesterbro y Meatpacking district.

Copenhagen in 3 days: Day 2, walking between channels

After my tips for traveling to Copenhagen and my previous one day tour, here our second day in Copenhagen and one of my favorite routes. Copenhagen between channels, is a guide to discover the part of Copenhagen that is surrounded by water: Christianborg, Christianshavn and Christiania. Something like Christian cubed! Hahaha

Copenhagen in 3 days: Day 1, Classic Copenhagen

As  promised in my previous post, here the route for your 1st day where you will see the most important monuments of Copenhagen. You can start walking the historic center for a first contact with the city. The town hall square is a good start, since the tourist office is also here. Stroll along its longest pedestrian street, Strøget, where most shops are. It is a very lively street. Visit the Round Tower (Rundetårn), built as an astronomical observatory. It is characterized by not having stairs, but an infinite ramp. You can climb and admire the views of downtown.

Como os prometía en mi anterior post, empezamos con el día 1 y los grandes clásicos de esta ciudad que no te puedes perder. Lo primero es recorrer su centro histórico para una primera toma de contacto con la ciudad. Puedes empezar por la plaza del ayuntamiento. Aquí también está la oficina de turismo. Recorre su calle peatonal más larga, Strøget, donde están la mayoría de tiendas. Es una calle muy animada. Visita la Torre Redonda (Rundetårn), construida como observatorio astronómico. Se caracteriza por no tener escaleras, sino una rampa infinita. Puedes subir y admirar las vistas del centro.

Copenhagen in 3 days: practical information and route

Those of you who follow me on Instagram, have seen that Ideotta and I have spent a few days in Copenhagen. Neither of us knew this city before and we both love it now. I have always tried to avoid traveling to the Nordic countries in winter because of the cold, but I have to tell you that Copenhagen in December is beautiful, specially with its Christmas markets, its lighting and the incredible Christmas decoration of the Tivoli Gardens. Totally worth the cold.

Los que me seguís en Instagram, habéis visto que Ideotta y yo hemos pasado unos días en Copenhague. Ninguno de los dos conocíamos esta ciudad y nos ha encantado. Siempre he intentado evitar los países nórdicos en invierno por el frío, pero he de deciros que Copenhague en diciembre está precioso con sus mercados de navidad, su iluminación  y la increíble decoración navideña del Tivoli. Totalmente recomendable.

Stockholm in 3 days

From Bergen we fly to Stockholm with Norwegian, a company we have already flown a couple of times and we love it! Cheap prices, (we paid € 23 for this flight) good service and, especially, free WIFI! We arrived at Arlanda Airport at 10.30 pm, but we had no problem with public transport at that time. At the end of the post I will give you tips on transport.

Desde Bergen volamos a Estocolmo con Norwegian, una compañía con la que ya hemos volado un par de veces y nos encanta! Precios muy baratos, (este tramo nos costó 23€) buen trato y, sobre todo, WIFI! Llegamos al Aeropuerto de Arlanda a las 22.30 de la noche, pero no tuvimos ningún problema en disponer de transporte público a esa hora. Al final del post os daré consejos prácticos sobre el transporte.

Stavanger + The Pulpit Rock (Preikestolen)

Desde Bergen fuimos en coche a Stavanger. En otro post os contaré la ruta que hicimos y todo lo referente a viajar en coche por Noruega. Hoy os contaré lo que no os podéis perder de Stavanger y todo sobre el Púlpito (Preikestolen), una auténtica maravilla de la naturaleza de muy fácil acceso.

Bergen in 3 days

From Oslo we went to Bergen by the famous Bergensbanen train line, known for being one of the most spectacular train journeys (at the end of the post you will find practical information about this train). We stayed in Bergen for 3 days and only rained one (which is pretty awesome for city standards).

De Oslo fuimos a Bergen en el famoso tren de la línea Bergensbanen, conocido por realizar unos de los trayectos en tren más espectaculares. Al final del post os detallaré la información práctica sobre este trayecto. En Bergen disfrutamos de 3 días completos, de los cuales, solo nos llovió uno (que para los estándares de la ciudad es muchísima suerte!).

Oslo in 3 days

Before going to Oslo, the only thing I had in mind was that, according to most blogs and forums, there was not much to see and that a couple of days was more than enough to get to know this city. And perhaps it is really so, but Oslo is also more than that. I suppose, in a tight schedule to visit this country with so much to offer, a few days in Oslo is more than enough. However, as you spend days in the city, you will discover its secret corners and it will conquer you little by little. We were lucky enough to spend three full days in this city that doesn't win in first impressions but it does when you go deeper.

Antes de ir a Oslo lo único que tenia en mente era que, según la mayoría de blogs y foros, no había mucho para ver y que con un par de días había más que suficiente. Y, tal vez sea realmente así, pero Oslo es mucho más. Supongo que, en una ruta ajustada por este país con tanto para ver, un par de días en Oslo son más que suficientes. Sin embargo, a medida que pasas días en la ciudad, vas descubriendo sus rincones secretos y te va conquistando poquito a poco. Nosotros tuvimos la suerte de poder dedicarle tres días completos a esta ciudad que, en primeras impresiones no gana mucho, pero que cuando profundizas, deja huella.

10 days in Norway

HELLO! After several weeks without updating the blog, today I bring you the first of several posts about our last days in Norway. First, I will show you our route, then I will make a brief summary of my impressions of Norway and, last, give you some tips.

¡HOLA! Tras varias semanas sin actualizar el blog, hoy os traigo el primero de varios posts sobre nuestras últimas vacaciones en Noruega. En primer lugar, os indicaré la ruta que hemos hecho, os haré un pequeño resumen de mis impresiones sobre Noruega y os daré algunos consejos prácticos.

Norway on the horizon

Next week, Ideotta and I, we go to Norway and Sweden. We have been talking about going to the Nordic Countries for ages. Each of us has a favorite one in its mind. For no reason, and for a thousand reasons simultaneously. Because of small remains that we accumulate in our mind that, without knowing it, make us imagine certain destinations as unique.

La semana que viene, Ideotta y yo, nos vamos de viaje a Noruega y a Suecia. Hace tiempo que hablamos de ir a los países nórdicos. Cada uno de nosotros tiene en su mente uno favorito. Sin motivo alguno, y por mil motivos al mismo tiempo. Por pequeños residuos que vamos acumulando en nuestra mente que, sin saberlo, nos hacen imaginar ciertos destinos como únicos.
