10 days in Bavaria: Donauwörth & Augsburg

From Nuremberg we headed to Augsburg by first stopping at Donauworth. To move around Bavaria I recommend you the "Bayern Ticket". It's a ticket that costs € 25 + € 7 extra per person, up to 5 people maximum. Children travel for free. This ticket allows you to travel unlimitedly on all Bavarian regional trains for one day (weekdays from 9 am and on weekends and holidays from 00 am). Here you have more information.

De Nuremberg nos dirigimos a Augsburgo haciendo primero una parada en Donauworth. Para moveros por Baviera os recomiendo el "Bayern Ticket". Es un billete que tiene un coste de 25€ + 7€ extra por persona, hasta 5 personas máximo. Los niños viajan gratis. Este billete te permite viajar ilimitadamente en todos los trenes regionales de Baviera durante un día (entre semana a partir de las 9h y los fines de semana y festivos desde las 00h). 10 days in Bavaria: Nuremberg, Lauf & Bamberg

A few weeks ago we spent 10 days travelling in Bavaria. At first glance it doesn't seem a very exotic destination, but the truth is that we came back in love with this area. Definitely a perfect trip to enjoy in August, without crowds and without heat. Absolute relax. On our route we visit Nuremberg, Lauf, Bamberg, Danauwörth, Augsburg, Tegernsee, Mittenwald and Bad Tölz. Today I bring you our first part of the trip.

Hace unas semanas estuvimos 10 días de vacaciones con Baviera. A primera vista no parece un destino muy exótico, pero la verdad es que hemos vuelto enamorados de esta zona. Sin duda una ruta perfecta para disfrutar en agosto, sin aglomeraciones y sin calor. Relax absoluto. En nuestra ruta visitamos Núremberg, Lauf, Bamberg, Danauwörth, Augsburgo, Tegernsee, Mittenwald y Bad Tölz. Hoy os cuento nuestra primera parte del viaje.

Delicious escape to Mexico City

Today I rescued another one of those trips that I had forgotten on ny hard drive ... Mexico. Many years ago, I spent almost a month touring this wonderful country. This was without a doubt one of the trips that I have enjoyed the most. I really wanted to come back. This was a 4-day short trip, but it gave me time to make a small gastronomic route that I totally recommend you!

Hoy os traigo otro de esos viajes que tenía olvidados en el disco duro… México. Hace años pasé casi un mes recorriéndome este maravilloso país. Sin duda uno de los viajes que más he disfrutado en mi vida y que nunca olvidaré. Tenía muchas ganas de volver. Este fue un viaje relámpago de 4 días, pero me dio tiempo de hacer una pequeña ruta gastronómica totalmente recomendable!

I was doing some digital cleaning on my laptop and found so many unpublished stories that I would love to share with you (if I find the time to do so)... Motherhood doens't give much truce to find moments of calm for bringing you more stories, but I will do my best to keep this diary updated.

Estaba haciendo limpieza digital en mi portátil y encontré muchísimas historias no publicadas que me encantaría compartir con vosotros (si tengo tiempo de hacerlo)... La maternidad no da mucha tregua, pero espero poder conseguir más momentos como éste para seguir actualizando este diario.

The year is over and I couldn’t miss the opportunity to wish a very happy 2019 full of good music and amazing travels, and to bring you my annual list of female talent to watch this 2019. El año se ha acabado y no podía dejar pasar esta ocasión para desearos un muy feliz 2019 lleno de buena música e increíbles viajes, y traeros mi anual listado de talentos femeninos de los que oirás hablar este 2019. Espero que os guste mi selección, que descubráis artistas que no conocíais y que, sobre todo, me recomendéis vuestros favoritos para este año. Feliz año bonitos!

Medieval Tuscany: Colle di Val d'Elsa, Volterra and San Gimignano

We visited these three beautiful fortified villages in a single day. We started with Colle di Val de'Elsa, followed by Volterra and ended up in San Gimigniano. All of them are about 30km away from each other. 30km of beautiful  typical Tuscany landscapes and, yes, many curves that zigzag through its hills.

Visitamos estos tres preciosos pueblos fortificados en un solo día. Empezamos por Colle di Val de'Elsa, seguimos por Volterra y acabamos en San Gimigniano. Todos ellos distan unos 30km los unos de los otros. 30km de preciosos paisajes típicos de la Toscana y, eso sí, de muchas curvas que zigzaguean por sus colinas.

Lucca and Pisa, all about towers.

Today's post is about our visit to Pisa and Lucca. We arrive to Pisa by plane and we decided to visit the city on our arrival. We spent just a couple of hours, so we didn't even manage to see the Pisa tower ... The truth is that I had been there before, and I liked the city a lot. Many people see the pisa tower and go to their next destination, but I recommend you take a walk around Pisa because it has charm. In fact, Pisa became - along with Venice, Genoa and Ragusa - one of the powerful Italian Maritime Republics. And, as a result of its more than 2,400 years of history, its streets hide a myriad of beautiful and historic corners.

Hoy os traigo nuestra visita a Pisa y Lucca. Dimos una vuelta por Pisa aprovechando que aterrizábamos allí, pero fue algo breve donde ni siquiera vimos la torre de pisa... La verdad es que yo ya había estado antes, y la ciudad me gustó mucho. Mucha gente ve la torre de pisa y se va a su siguiente destino, pero yo os recomiendo dar una vuelta por Pisa porque tiene encanto. De hecho, Pisa llegó a ser – junto a Venecia, Génova y Ragusa – una de las potentes Repúblicas Marítimas italianas. Y, como resultado de sus más de 2.400 años de historia, sus calles esconden un sinfín de rincones bellos e históricos.
