MTV EUROPEAN MUSIC AWARDS 2019

This year me and my friend Carmen were invited to attend the European Music Awards  held in Seville this year. Commonly abbreviated as MTV EMA, these awards are given annually, since 1994, by the MTV channel to the best of European music. They were originally created as a variant of the MTV Video Music Awards also known as American VMAs. EMAs are held every year in a different European city. This year was in Seville.

Este año nos invitaron a mi y a mi compi Carmen a conocer los European music Awards que se celebraban en Sevilla. Conocidos también como EMAs, son unos premios otorgados anualmente, desde 1994, por el canal MTV a lo mejor de la música de Europa. Originalmente fueron creados como una variante de los MTV Video Music Awards también conocidos como VMAs estadounidenses. Los EMA se celebran cada año en una ciudad europea diferente. Este año fue en Sevilla.

TIDAL X: Rock the Vote in NY

In October I was invited to the annual charity concert organized by TIDAL, TIDAL X Rock The Vote. Since its creation in 2015, these charity concerts have raised millions of dollars for different social causes such as the reform of criminal justice or humanitarian aid in natural disasters. This year's revenue from this concert has been entirely allocated to Rock The Vote to prepare new voters for elections as decisive as those of 2020 in the United States.

En octubre me invitaron al concierto benéfico anual organizado por TIDAL, TIDAL X Rock The Vote. Desde su creación en 2015, estos conciertos benéficos han recaudado millones de dólares para distintas causas sociales como la reforma de la justicia penal o ayuda humanitaria en desastres naturales. Este año los ingresos de este concierto han sido íntegramente destinados a Rock The Vote para preparar a los nuevos votantes para unas elecciones tan decisivas como serán las de 2020 en Estados Unidos.

2 days in Athens with friends

Here I bring you a little story from last year that I found doing file cleaning. We spent two days in Athens for work and had a great time. I don't have many tips to bring you from this trip because, the truth is, that I don't  even remember the restaurants we went to ... It is really a shame, because I remember that some friends from there recommended us one that we liked very much. But if you want to know more about Athens you can read my old post here.

Aquí os traigo una pequeña historia del año pasado que encontré haciendo limpieza de archivos. Estuvimos dos días en Atenas por trabajo y lo pasamos genial. No tengo muchos tips que traeros de este viaje porque la verdad es que ya ni me acuerdo de los restaurantes a los que fuimos... En realidad es una pena, porque recuerdo que nos recomendaron unos amigos de allí uno que nos gustó mucho. Pero si queréis saber más sobre Atenas podéis leer mi antiguo post aquí.

Andorra: mirador Roc del Quer

Today I bring you one of the excursions we have done recently in Andorra: the Mirador Roc del Quer (Viewpoint of the Quer). The truth is that the nature in Andorra is a real wonder and it radically contrasts with the image of its capital Andorra la Vella, consumerist epicenter of this small country in the Pyrenees. Lately we do quite often weekend trips to Andorra, so I will be bringing you more escapes to nature.

Hoy os traigo una de las excursiones que hemos hecho hace poco por Andorra: el mirador Roc del Quer. La verdad es que la naturaleza en Andorra es una maravilla y contrasta radicalmente con la imagen que deja su capital Andorra la Vella, epicentro consumista de este pequeño país de los Pirineos. Ultimamente le hemos cogido el gusto a ir de excursión por Andorra, así que os iré trayendo más escapadas a la naturaleza.

10 Days in Bavaria: Tegernsee, Mittenwald & Bad Tölz

Today I bring you our favorite part of our holidays in Bavaria, Tegernsee! From Augsburg we went to Munich airport by train where we had rented a car with Global for € 68 for 4 days. The rental company is right to the train station exit at the airport. Everything went very well and the delivery is very easy at the same airport parking lot. From Augsburg to the airport it took 1h45 and we used the Bayern Ticket again (you have info in my previous post).

Hoy os traigo la parte de las vacaciones que más me gustó, Tegernsee! Desde Augsburg fuimos hasta el aeropuerto de Munich en tren donde habíamos reservado un coche con Global por 68€ 4 días. La compañía de alquiler está en el mismo aeropuerto justo al lado de la salida del tren del aeropuerto. Todo fue muy bien y la entrega super fácil en el mismo parking del aeropuerto. Desde Augsburgo al aeropuerto tardamos 1h45 y utilizamos el Bayern Ticket de nuevo (tenéis info en mi anterior post).

10 days in Bavaria: Donauwörth & Augsburg

From Nuremberg we headed to Augsburg by first stopping at Donauworth. To move around Bavaria I recommend you the "Bayern Ticket". It's a ticket that costs € 25 + € 7 extra per person, up to 5 people maximum. Children travel for free. This ticket allows you to travel unlimitedly on all Bavarian regional trains for one day (weekdays from 9 am and on weekends and holidays from 00 am). Here you have more information.

De Nuremberg nos dirigimos a Augsburgo haciendo primero una parada en Donauworth. Para moveros por Baviera os recomiendo el "Bayern Ticket". Es un billete que tiene un coste de 25€ + 7€ extra por persona, hasta 5 personas máximo. Los niños viajan gratis. Este billete te permite viajar ilimitadamente en todos los trenes regionales de Baviera durante un día (entre semana a partir de las 9h y los fines de semana y festivos desde las 00h).
